Varalakshmi Sarathkumar could debut with director Bala’s untitled film, if things work out fine. There are reports from Kollywood that Bala was looking for a newbie to play the female lead in the Vishal-Arya starrer. And when he came across Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, he decided to cast her in the film as she was more apt for the role. Varalakshmi is a trained musician too and was supposed to have debuted with Silambarasan’s Poda Podi. However, the project was shelved for reasons unknown and Varalakshmi decided to wait for a better offer.
